Pero no pasar\u00e1n\u2026\u00bb Aquel legendario llamamiento por radio del 19 de julio de 1936 convirti\u00f3 a Dolores Ib\u00e1rruri, a la saz\u00f3n diputada del Frente Popular por Asturias, en el s\u00edmbolo universal de la resistencia republicana frente al fascismo.\u00a0Nacida en el coraz\u00f3n de la cuenca minera vizca\u00edna y militante del Partido Comunista de Espa\u00f1a desde su fundaci\u00f3n \u2013ahora hace justo un siglo\u2013, es en el crisol y la tragedia de la guerra civil cuando se forja el mito de\u00a0Pasionaria.<\/p>\n<p>Tras la amarga derrota de 1939 conocer\u00e1 un largo exilio de cuatro d\u00e9cadas, principalmente en la Uni\u00f3n Sovi\u00e9tica. Asume la secretar\u00eda general del PCE en plena guerra mundial, en la que su hijo Rub\u00e9n, oficial del Ej\u00e9rcito Rojo, muere en la batalla de Stalingrado. Retornada a Espa\u00f1a en 1977, la imagen de Dolores Ib\u00e1rruri del brazo de Rafael Alberti, en el Congreso de los Diputados, constituye una de las estampas m\u00e1s ic\u00f3nicas de la Transici\u00f3n.
